For many like me, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Today I was reminded of that light,
That like the children of Israel, I am walking through the wilderness on my way to promise land,
Like the children of Israel, I am prone to lamentation wanting to cling to what I know and wanting my pain to end.
Forgetting the lessons we are meant to learn during this walk is easy,
Lamenting and disbelief comes naturally,
Forgetting the end goal, a second nature that lies deep within.
Like the children of Israel, we will reach the land of abundance and happiness, where all is well and perfect,
With the knowledge from the children of Isreal, our 40 years will turn into a couple of years, months and even days,
Like these children, there is light at the end of the tunnel and we will find the way,
